Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Welcome to Uganda

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport where you’ll be greeted by a private guide and transferred to your luxury hotel overlooking Lake Victoria. Day 2: Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest – Aerial Arrival in Gorilla Territory

After breakfast, take a scenic scheduled flight to the Kihihi airstrip near Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Upon landing, a lodge representative will transfer you to your luxurious forest lodge. The afternoon is free to relax or explore the surrounding area with a nature walk. Bwindi’s mist-covered hills and rich rainforest are home to nearly half the world’s population of mountain gorillas.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking – A Once-in-a-Lifetime Encounter

Today is the highlight of your journey. After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before setting off on your gorilla trekking expedition. Led by expert guides and rangers, you’ll hike through dense rainforest to locate one of the habituated gorilla families. Once found, you will spend one magical hour in their presence, observing them in their natural habitat—a deeply moving experience. Return to the lodge for a well-earned rest or indulge in a complimentary massage.

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Through the Ishasha Sector

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive through the southern Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions. Keep your camera ready as you pass through beautiful savannah landscapes, possibly spotting elephants, buffalos, and antelope along the way. Stop for a game drive in Ishasha before continuing to your luxury lodge located in the heart of the park.

Day 5: Safari Game Drives and Kazinga Channel Boat Safari

This waterway connects Lake Edward and Lake George and is home to one of Africa’s highest concentrations of hippos, along with crocodiles, elephants, and countless waterbirds. The boat cruise offers excellent photography opportunities from a unique water-level perspective.

Day 6: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kyambura Gorge & Scenic Game Drive

While chimp sightings are not guaranteed, the experience of walking through this lush, sun-dappled canyon is a reward in itself. In the afternoon, enjoy another game drive or relax at your lodge’s spa with panoramic views of the park.
