Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Sunset Photography at Lake Victoria

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly received by your professional safari guide, who will assist you with your luggage and provide a short briefing about your photography journey ahead. You will then be transferred to your boutique hotel, nestled near the tranquil shores of Lake Victoria. The serene environment offers a perfect introduction to Uganda’s natural beauty, allowing you to relax after your journey.

In the late afternoon, head out for your first guided photography session along the lake. As the sun begins to set, you’ll capture breathtaking scenes of golden reflections shimmering across the water, traditional fishing boats silhouetted against the horizon, and richly colored skies transitioning from warm oranges to deep purples. This session is ideal for honing your landscape and travel photography skills while adjusting to the local light conditions.

Day 2: Shoebill Photography in Mabamba Wetland & Transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

The highlight of the morning is the opportunity to photograph the elusive Shoebill Stork, a rare and prehistoric-looking bird known for its massive bill and statuesque presence. Along the way, you may also photograph a variety of other bird species and wetland scenery.

Day 3: Rhino Tracking & Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

After an early breakfast, set out for a guided rhino tracking experience on foot within Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. The experience allows you to capture intimate details such as skin texture, expressions, and interactions within their natural habitat.
