Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Gateway to the Wild

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where a warm welcome awaits from your personal safari guide. You’ll transfer to a luxury hotel such as The Boma Entebbe, nestled near the shores of Lake Victoria. Depending on arrival time, you can explore the local markets, enjoy a lakeside sundowner, or relax by the pool.

Day 2: Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest – Into Gorilla Country

After breakfast, take a scenic scheduled flight to Kihihi  Airstrip, followed by a transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to nearly half of the world’s mountain gorillas.

Check in at a luxury lodge such as Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp,  where you’ll enjoy personalized service, spectacular views, and fine dining. Spend the afternoon relaxing, or opt for a guided walk through the local village to learn about community life.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking – A Profound Encounter

Rise early for the adventure of a lifetime: gorilla trekking. After a briefing at the park headquarters, you’ll head into the forest with expert trackers to find a habituated gorilla family. The trek may take a few hours, depending on the group’s movements, but the reward is immeasurable.

Once located, spend an awe-inspiring hour watching the gorillas eat, play, and interact. This emotional and humbling encounter is often described as life-changing. After the trek, return to your lodge for a leisurely afternoon, spa treatment, or celebratory drink by the fireplace.

Day 4: Transfer via Ishasha – Tree-Climbing Lions & Scenic Drive

Today, enjoy a game drive through the Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its rare tree-climbing lions. Keep your camera ready as you pass through savannahs and woodland where elephants, buffalo, and antelopes roam.

Stop for a bush picnic before continuing to your overnight lodge near Kihihi Airstrip. Depending on the lodge you choose—such as Ishasha Wilderness Camp enjoy an evening surrounded by nature’s sounds and spectacular views.

Day 5: Fly to Nairobi – Gateway to the Mara

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Entebbe, then connect to Nairobi, Kenya, where you’ll be met on arrival and transferred to a boutique hotel like  Hemingways Nairobi.

Depending on your flight time, enjoy an optional city tour, visit the Giraffe Centre, or relax at the hotel in anticipation of your journey to the Masai Mara.

Day 6: Fly to the Masai Mara – Into the Heart of Africa’s Wildlife

This morning, board a scheduled flight to the Masai Mara, Kenya’s most famous safari destination. Touch down on an airstrip near your luxury camp—options include Mara Bushtops, Angama Mara, or Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp.

After lunch and a short rest, head out for your first afternoon game drive. The Masai Mara is teeming with wildlife—expect to see lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, giraffes, and possibly leopards. Return to camp for sundowners and a gourmet dinner under the stars.

Day 7: Full-Day Safari in the Masai Mara

Wake up early for a full day of exploration. You can opt for a hot air balloon safari at sunrise (optional, but highly recommended), followed by a champagne breakfast on the plains.

Spend the rest of the day on game drives across the open savannah, guided by expert trackers who understand the rhythm of the bush. Witness the great migration (seasonal), predator-prey action, and diverse birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild, followed by more sightings before returning to camp.

Day 8: Return to Nairobi – Departure

Enjoy one final morning game drive or bush walk before your flight back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international flight home
