Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe, Uganda

Your adventure begins in Entebbe, Uganda. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel near Lake Victoria. Depending on arrival time, you may take a short walk in the Botanical Gardens or visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre.

Day 2: Drive to Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast, drive westward to Kibale Forest National Park, passing through tea plantations, forests, and crater lakes. The area is one of Africa’s richest ecosystems and the best place to see chimpanzees.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Wetlands Walk

Early morning, head into Kibale Forest for chimpanzee tracking. Follow the calls of chimp troops through the canopy and spend an hour with them in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided walk through the Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary, a birder’s paradise and haven for monkeys and butterflies.

Day 4: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Travel south to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most diverse wildlife areas. Enjoy an afternoon boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, famous for its high concentration of hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife, including African fish eagles and kingfishers.

Day 5: Game Drive in Ishasha – Transfer to Bwindi

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Today is the highlight of your safari—gorilla trekking. After an early briefing, trek with experienced guides into the thick forest to track a habituated gorilla family. Day 7: Cultural Visit – Transfer to Rwanda (Volcanoes National Park)

Day 8: Optional Activities in Volcanoes National Park

Day 9: Drive to Kigali – Flight to Nairobi, Kenya

Day 10: Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Fly or drive to the world-renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve. This iconic savannah landscape is home to abundant wildlife including the Big Five. Settle into your tented camp and head out for your first thrilling game drive.

Days 11–13: Safari in the Maasai Mara

• Early morning and evening game drives
