2-Day Lake Mburo National Park Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Exploration
Depart from Kampala early in the morning, making a brief stop at the Equator crossing in Kayabwe for photos and a quick science demonstration. Continue to Lake Mburo National Park, arriving by mid-morning. After checking into your lodge, embark on an afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo, the only lake entirely within a Ugandan national park. The cruise offers opportunities to observe hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species, including the elusive shoebill stork and African fish eagle.
