Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Welcome to Uganda

Your luxury safari begins with your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, where a professional driver-guide greets you and transfers you to a boutique hotel, such as Hotel No.5  These elegant properties offer a peaceful start to your journey, complete with landscaped gardens, gourmet cuisine, and personalized service.

Depending on your arrival time, you may take a stroll through the Entebbe Botanical Gardens or enjoy a sunset cruise on Lake Victoria. Dinner is served at the hotel, accompanied by Ugandan hospitality and charm.

Day 2: Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest – Into the Heart of the Jungle

After a sumptuous breakfast, board a domestic flight to Kihihi  depending on the location of your gorilla permit. The flight offers bird’s-eye views of Uganda’s stunning landscapes—rolling hills, crater lakes, and forest canopies.

Upon arrival, your driver transfers you to a top-tier lodge near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Choose from  Buhoma Lodge, or Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp. These luxury lodges provide private cottages with fireplaces, panoramic views, spa treatments, and fine dining using local ingredients.

Spend the afternoon at leisure or take a guided nature walk through the forest to acclimate before the big day.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking – A Life-Changing Encounter

Rise early for the highlight of your safari: gorilla trekking. After a detailed briefing at the park headquarters, set off into the jungle with experienced trackers and rangers. The trek can last from 2 to 6 hours, depending on the gorilla family’s location.

Once you locate the gorillas, you’ll spend an unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat. Witness their human-like behavior as they eat, groom, and care for their young—an experience often described as humbling and emotional.

Return to your lodge for a celebratory lunch and some well-earned relaxation. A massage or hot bath awaits, followed by a delicious dinner under the stars.

Day 4: Cultural Encounters & Coffee Tour

Immerse yourself in the rich cultural tapestry of the region with a guided visit to a local community. Engage with villagers, witness traditional crafts, and enjoy lively dance and music performances. Later, embark on a scenic coffee tour through lush plantations nestled in the hills. Learn about the coffee-making process from bean to cup, guided by local farmers who share their knowledge and passion. Savor freshly brewed, organic coffee while overlooking panoramic views. Day 5: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Ishasha’s Tree-Climbing Lions

After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing through scenic countryside and traditional villages. Your destination is the Ishasha Sector, famous for its rare tree-climbing lions.

Check in at a luxury tented camp such as Ishasha Wilderness Camp, nestled on the banks of the Ntungwe River. After lunch, head out on a game drive to search for lions lounging in fig trees, as well as elephants, antelopes, and buffalo.

Return to your lodge for sundowners and dinner by the riverside, surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

Day 6: Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Safari

Today begins with a game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, a prime location for spotting lions, leopards, hyenas, and herds of Uganda kob.

In the afternoon, enjoy a luxury boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, one of Uganda’s most biodiverse waterways. You’ll cruise past hundreds of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and an impressive array of birdlife—including fish eagles, kingfishers, and pelicans.

Day 7: Fly Back to Entebbe – Departure
