Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Your safari begins in Arusha, the gateway to northern Tanzania’s safari circuit. Upon arrival, you’ll be picked up by your driver-guide and taken to your accommodation. After settling in, enjoy a pre-safari briefing and some time to explore the town or simply relax.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant population and iconic baobab trees. The park comes alive during the dry season when thousands of animals migrate to the Tarangire River. Spot lions lounging in the shade, giraffes towering above the trees, and if lucky, leopards perched on branches.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and continue your game drive until late afternoon before heading to your campsite.

Day 3: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park

An early start takes you through the highlands and into the vast plains of Serengeti National Park. This is the heart of Tanzania’s safari experience and home to the famous Great Migration. Along the way, you may stop at a Maasai village for a cultural visit (optional, at extra cost).

Arrive in the Serengeti in time for an afternoon game drive. The landscape transforms into endless golden savannas teeming with wildlife—lions, cheetahs, buffalo, and countless wildebeest and zebra.

Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti

Spend the full day exploring the Serengeti. Depending on the season, you might witness the Great Wildebeest Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebra move in search of fresh grazing grounds, followed closely by predators. Your guide will tailor the day’s itinerary based on wildlife activity and your interests.

Enjoy meals at your campsite, surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After a morning game drive and brunch, head toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you climb the crater highlands, take in breathtaking views and keep your eyes peeled for Maasai herders and their cattle. Arrive at the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater in the evening and settle into your campsite with spectacular views.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

Today is a highlight of the safari: a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a wildlife paradise with one of the highest concentrations of animals in Africa. Expect close encounters with elephants, black rhinos, hippos, and an array of birdlife. This is one of the few places in East Africa where all members of the Big Five can be seen in a single day.

After a memorable morning in the crater, begin your drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon
