Day two is the highlight of your safari: tracking mountain gorillas deep in the jungle. After an early breakfast, join your guides and rangers for a safety briefing before setting off on foot through dense foliage, muddy slopes, and hidden trails. The trek can take between 2–6 hours, depending on the gorilla group’s location. Once found, you’ll spend a magical hour observing these gentle giants as they feed, groom, and care for their young—a truly unforgettable wildlife experience. Enjoy a peaceful evening by the water with a campfire and traditional Ugandan cuisine.
