Day 1: Flight to Kidepo & Afternoon Game Drive

Begin your adventure with a scenic domestic flight from Entebbe Airport to Kidepo Airstrip, soaring over breathtaking landscapes of northern Uganda. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your lodge, located inside or near the park with spectacular views of the Narus Valley. After lunch and a brief rest, head out for your first game drive, where you might spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and lions lounging in the golden grasslands. Return to the lodge for a sundowner and dinner under the stars.

Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Kidepo

After an early breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive exploring both the Narus and Kidepo Valleys, the two main wildlife-rich areas of the park. Kidepo is home to over 77 mammal species, including cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, jackals, and Uganda’s largest buffalo herds. The birdlife is equally impressive, with over 475 species recorded. Enjoy a packed picnic lunch in the bush and take in the sweeping views of the Morungole Mountains. In the evening, return to the lodge for a relaxed dinner and storytelling by the campfire.

Day 3: Cultural Experience & Scenic Drive

Spend the morning on a cultural visit to the Karamojong community, an indigenous pastoralist group known for their unique traditions, dress, and cattle-keeping lifestyle. Learn about their customs, music, and daily routines, offering a meaningful glimpse into life in Uganda’s remote northeast. In the afternoon, enjoy a shorter game drive or relax at the lodge, soaking in the wild tranquility that makes Kidepo so special.

Day 4: Return Flight to Entebbe

After breakfast, bid farewell to Kidepo’s majestic landscapes and board your return flight to Entebbe, arriving by midday. Continue your onward journey or connect to your international flight home.
