Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania – Kilimanjaro International Airport

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where you’ll be welcomed and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. Relax, enjoy dinner, and prepare for your climb with a briefing from your trekking team.

Day 2: Kilimanjaro Briefing & Gear Check – Rest Day in Arusha

Today is a preparation and acclimatization day. Your mountain guide will go over the climb, safety procedures, and inspect your trekking gear. You’ll also have time to explore local markets or enjoy the peaceful gardens of your lodge.

Day 9: Final Descent – Return to Arusha
