Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi, Kenya

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where a friendly representative will meet and transfer you to your hotel in Nairobi. Depending on your arrival time, you can explore the city or simply rest ahead of your safari adventure.

Day 2: Fly to Masai Mara – First Game Drive

After breakfast, board a scheduled flight to the Masai Mara, one of Africa’s most celebrated game reserves. On arrival, your guide will transfer you to your camp, located in a prime wildlife-viewing area. Later, embark on your first game drive, scanning the plains for elephants, giraffes, antelopes, lions, and cheetahs.

Day 3–4: Full Days Exploring the Masai Mara (Migration Focus)

Day 5: Morning Game Drive – Return to Nairobi

Enjoy a final morning game drive, then return to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and relax for the evening. Optional activities include visiting the Giraffe Centre or the Karen Blixen Museum.

Day 6: Fly to Entebbe, Uganda – Transfer to Bwindi

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Entebbe, Uganda. From here, you’ll take a domestic flight to Kihihi or Kisoro, depending on your lodge location. Your driver-guide will greet you and transfer you through lush landscapes to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to almost half the world’s mountain gorillas.

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking Adventure

This is the pinnacle of your safari: an encounter with mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. After a safety briefing, set out with a team of expert trackers into the forest. The trek can last from 2 to 6 hours depending on the gorillas’ location, but the reward is a magical one-hour encounter watching them feed, groom, and play.

Seeing a gorilla up close in the misty jungle is humbling, emotional, and deeply memorable  later in the evening visit the Batwa pygmies, indigenous forest dwellers who share their culture through storytelling and dance.

Day 8: Coffee Tour and Lake Mutanda excursion

1-day Coffee Tour and Lake Mutanda excursion. Begin your morning with a guided visit to a local coffee farm, where you’ll learn about the entire process—from bean to cup. Pick, roast, and brew your own cup of traditional Ugandan coffee with insights from local farmers. In the afternoon, head to the stunning Lake Mutanda, nestled between volcanoes and lush hills. Enjoy a peaceful canoe ride or nature walk along the shores, with panoramic views and birdlife all around.
